Inspired by the Past, Building for the Future

The storied history of Billings Clinic and Deaconess Hospital began more than 100 years ago, as our founders embarked on a pioneering journey to provide expert and innovative health care for our region. Together, these two far-sighted organizations, created a trailblazing legacy of firsts for our state and region bringing advanced care to our citizens. This spirit lives on today, as Billings Clinic has grown from a small physician group< and 58-bed hospital into an enterprise that includes more than 440 physicians and advanced practitioners, a 304-bed hospital, Level II Trauma Center, and affiliate agreements with 13 regional partnerships, including management agreements with 12 Critical Access Hospitals and a joint venture in Community Medical Center (Missoula, MT) with RCCH Hospital Partners.

Throughout our journey, many key moments and forward-thinking individuals have contributed to our success, including those who have made significant philanthropic investments through their estate plans. Our legacy benefactors provide for ambitious building expansions, acquisition of state-of-the-art technology and equipment, and much-needed patient support.

Billings Clinic Foundation is formally launching our Legacy Society to honor the special group of visionary benefactors whose generosity empowers Billings Clinic to continue our commitment to innovation and compassionate health care. The Billings Clinic Legacy Society will recognize donors who have chosen to include a gift for Billings Clinic in their estate plans or have established a planned gift with our organization.
